| Hello World of Xanga!
Yes, it sure has been awhile since my last post! like, three months maybe??? That's cool I guess, I dunno if people read these anymore. Sorry Tim, guess I failed to support you enough in your long-lost quest to bring back xanga. I kinda gave up, I'm barely holding my Vimeo account together! But seriously, it has been awhile. And I know that people don't really use this site much anymore, mostly because facebook has notes you can write, to share your thoughts with more people so they can read it more easily...although that's not esepecially applicable to me, being that I haven't written any notes.
So, what's been going through my head recently? Ummm a lot of organic chemistry, and a lot of microbiology, with the addition of a little bit of New Testament biblical studies (with a lot of feminism, which I wasn't especially fond of), and a lotta relationship-like learning experiences with my girlfriend Aimee (Happy 3 months today!)...and that's about it.
I feel like kind of a bad friend though sometimes. I look back and wonder where the time went, when I could've called someone to say whassup at least for a little while...even ten minutes! But then, I didn't apparently. So, life's been hectic recently, and has gotten me to sometimes lose where my priorities lie even, so I apologize to those who I haven't really kept in touch well with. Man...school's a butt sometimes, but that's not even a good enough excuse I think. Nothing really is.
I wish I were 100% efficient with my time. Not to the point where I become a robot-man, but still, that would help soooo much. What's funny is that I feel like I've made more efficient use of my time than last year. Ahhh last year...now THAT was true madness. I hope nothing like freshman year ever comes back to haunt me again, cuz that was truly when my priorities were out of order as I learned and experienced a lot of firsts in my life, in retrospect.
So, if you're reading this, then you're probably not in the same situation as I am...cuz I've got 3 more finals left to go. Don't worry, I'm taking a study break! Besides, I can't change my micro grade with my final exam anyways, I'd need to get like a 55% or lower to lower my grade. or a 98% to up it. And my other finals on Thursday are not a priority either...they're for my GE's.
Well anyways, I just felt like writing something, so I guess this is something. I'm really looking forward to being home finally...I'll miss people from school, for sure, but something about home just feels really attractive right now...
I wish I could take my keyboard with me though. Cuz I wanna do some recording over winter break. Like a lot. Cuz I finally got a cable that can control the volume input into my computer, cuz my keyboard overpowers my comp...ah well no matter. I've got internship applications to fill out anyways, that should keep me busy. As well as planning out my summer.
CRAP. summer. Feels so long away, but then, it's not really. And there's so many possibilities...missions trips?...summer school?...internships?...youth ministries?...work?...and the list continues on. Maybe I'll talk about that next time.

| First post in a long long time.
So, this week was sorta depressing as a whole. I didn't go to Mount Hermon this year. saddest things first. I was happy that I could spend some time with my brother tho, but he leaves on Sunday to go back to SD for summer school and an internship, and I won't get to see him after that until like November. Didn't really have much time to hang out, but that's okay. But generally speaking, it's been kinda lonely here.
Part of this sucks cuz I've got a lot of people I'd like to keep in touch with this summer. But not the time to do it. I feel like a pretty bad friend, but it's all about time, and what you do with it. I'm really short on time: I've got a pretty heavy amount of hours this coming week, then there's VBS (which I should be able to help out with, yay!), and then there's a few days before I leave for Japan. So, not a whole lotta time.
Well...sacrifices must be made. I hate that money has to be a part of all this inability to do things, but that's the way it goes these days. But then, what am I complaining for, I live in the top 1% of the world. I have nothing to rightfully complain about...and yet I still do. Nothing to take for granted...and yet I still do. Materialism plagues America, and that's the way it goes.
I'm done.

I'm gonna start posting new music on this from now on, I'm covering Anberlin's "Cities" album, or attempting to, so take a listen to my first installment, "Godspeed", now uploaded! Even if it sucks kinda, cuz I improv everything...
